Long ago, before India enacted labor laws to protect children, Unique watched children shine shoes and make clothes instead of going to school. Their faces had smudges of oil and dirt, and their eyes were dull. Saddened by the inequity, he vowed to help kids break free from the cycle of poverty. In 2016, Unique founded Elderflower Farmacy, a social good project to raise money for NGOs that helps women and children experiencing hardship.

Brightening Futures

Elderflower Farmacy raised money for charities by selling beauty products. The project ran from 2016 to 2018 until it was acquired by Ethan Moretz; brother of celebrity, Chlöe Grace Moretz.

A Piece of Peace

Each product was made with love to inspire mindfulness. Candles made from beeswax were and euphoric aromatics were adorned with meditation mantras to teach people how to cultivate stillness.

Meeting Demand

Elderflower Farmacy customers shared their candles on social media. Many said they kept product in their bags or office to enjoy the scent. Some admitted to rubbing warm candle wax on their skin to savor the scent. To satisfy our audience, we developed Calm Balms in various scents.

Recognition

With the help of the world, Elderflower Farmacy was able to help thousands of children get access to education in Bangladesh, and we generated awareness and support for NGOs in America that serve victims of abuse.
