Meet Unique

I went to college to become a doctor. I studied anatomy, organic chemistry, genetics, immunology, and spent most of my time buried in neuroscience research. I was fascinated by the mechanics of decision-making—what makes people choose one thing over another, and the stories they tell themselves about why.

Then I realized I did not want to practice medicine. I wanted to practice persuasion.

I started as a journalist, interviewing subject matter experts to craft stories under deadline for publications like Entrepreneur Magazine and the Orlando Business Journal. That taught me how to listen—really listen—to what people mean when they are not saying exactly what they mean.

From there I moved into public relations, then advertising. I have spent the last decade writing for brands like Microsoft, Dell, Nissan, PNC Bank, and Abbott at agencies including Omnicom’s RAPP and GMR Marketing. I have led global campaigns spanning 15 markets, turned RFP processes into revenue engines, and consistently improved conversion metrics by 200–400%.

The science background never left. It shows up in how I approach every brief—starting with the audience’s psychology, not the product’s features. Starting with the fear, the desire, the friction. The words come last. They always come last.

That is why they work.
